Quick Morning Smoothie
Catchy title, heh?
Well I just thought that I would share with you a quick and healthy drink idea that I created this morning.
It’s ideal for me as I often have to rush in the morning after hitting the snooze button one time too many.
No special machinery or culinary skills are required so you can be half asleep and still achieve acceptable results.
So here are the instructions:
• Half fill a glass/container with plain or vanilla yoghurt.
• Add some fresh berries, I used raspberies and blueberrys. About 3 of each for 1 glass is good.
• Add a small amount of honey or maple syrup.
• Fill the remainder of the glass with milk. I used 2%.
• Whisk round with a spoon until the yoghurt and milk has mixed. Hopefully some of the fruit will have crushed too the colour will have changed to suit.
Drink up and feel nourished. Then run to work…
