I am English and my mum lives in England, so sadly due to a mix up of dates I missed English mothers day. Completely my fault and I feel very bad about it.

Before coming to North America I had no idea that the dates were different and I have always relied on my job (I was designing windows displays for large stores) to inform me that it was coming up.

I don’t work in that job anymore either so will have to make sure that I mark things like this on my calendar.

Anyway mothers day in North America is coming up. And what are you going to do for your mother. I guess I could say what I would do if my Mum was in North America.

I would probably send her a simple, maybe self made card and could organize a mothers day flowers delivery or something simple.

1-800Flowers.com is a simple place online organize these flower deliveries or purchase gifts such as chocolates and food items for your mum.

Try not to miss it this year…. like I did!
