My Micro Niche Finder Guest Post on BrentCrouch.com
With all the recent COWpetition excitement between Garry Conn and John Cow, I almost forgot to mention that I published a guest post very recently.
I wrote about the fantastic Micro Niche Finder and tried to show readers how they could put it to use to bring traffic to their sites and uncover niche areas.
Here is the post: Micro Niche Finder Review - Find Long Tail Keywords - Keyword Research
Let me know what you think of the post and go give Brent a few minutes of your time. It’s a very useful blog with many tips for us normal guys who are in the learning phase of blogging and maybe even for all of you pro’s out there too.

Hi Forest,
Thanks for the mention and more importantly the guest post. I’ve been poking around here for the last hour or so. You have some really great stuff. I’m a new subscriber!
It’s also cool to know you do graphics work. I’m always needing something and will definitely keep you in mind. By the way, your rss feed graphic is “off the chain”. Translation: very cool.

Hey Brent,
I found the post quite demanding as it is the first serious guest post that I have done. I did enjoy it very much though. Obviously I want to make sales but I only promote MNF because I actually use it to great effect. Thanks very much for letting me post without knowing too much about me.
My Blog BlogAboutAnimals.com has just started getting indexed by google so now it’s time to start putting MNF into full effect. I’ll keep you updated with my success.
As for the graphics…. I have been a designer since I left school to participate in an apprenticeship at 16. I’m now 26. I worked in London, England as a Freelance for the last few years until last summer. I have since moved to Montreal, Canada and have been taking a short break but recently graphics jobs have been creaping back into my life.
As for web graphics, I was always print for my trade with web stuff being just here and there. My coding ability is growing but by no means professional just yet. I have been learning though and hope to be able to offer full themes some time in the next 6 months. This website is suffereing from a sidebar arrangement problem right now and I need to work out a new one.
I have a portfolio page coming in the next week or so and I will let you know about it right away.
Thanks for visiting. I look forward to seeing you around.

Forest, 6 months might be just the right time frame for me to get a new theme. I may hook up with you on a new site design if your not to busy. When your ready to launch let me know

26? No you can’t be! That doesn’t fit the mental image I have of you. I had you pictured as Sean Connery. Now, I’ll have to picture you as a Ashton Kutcher or …..who else? Hmm.
I’d love to see your portfolio page when you get it up, and am very curious how MNF helps you with your new blog.
As far as coding goes, I’d love to learn PHP. I just installed a new shopping cart on one of my sites that uses PHP. It is amazing what you can do in PHP. I’ve been using a Javascript / Perl based shopping cart for years. PHP has allowed us to break through a lot of barriers and accomplish things that couldn’t be accomplished with the old cart.

Ha ha, I’m not quite Ashton, a little more beardier and far less American (from England actually!).
Today has been a good day PHO wise, I am amending a theme for a new blog http://nutritionhealthstore.com and I think I have finally cracked it enough to be able to put what I want where I want!
If you start with someone else’s PHP (Like I did with Mr Conn’s free theme) then I think you can really work it out quickly.
There really is no point starting from scratch unless you have aspiration s to work with PHP full time.

I take that same “why reinvent the wheel” approach with my work too. If you can utilize a portion of code to fit your needs then go for it. Of course, give credit where it is due. If you ever need any help figuring out code just hit me up Forest…I’d be glad to help where I can.

Cheers Bryan… I saw that you were promoting the Digg group. Will be over to properly read and add a thanks comment very soon.
