Back then, the cheapest, but most reliable host I could find was Hostgator. Currently at www.mrpappagiorgio.com I'm using Top Hosting Center which I discovered from GrandmasterB.com. Their price is really cheap if you sign up for a year and has excellent bandwidth limitations, and haven't yet seen my site down but one time for a few seconds.
