Flipping blog contests and workshops!! Gotta, get focused
Things have been getting very hectic and I have been bowing to all sorts of distractions. I have not emptied my Google Reader in two weeks and I seem to have developed a habit of taking on too many projects and not dedicating enough time to them.
Well I am addressing that now and have two projects in particular that I will be putting a lot of time and effort into.
When I get back from Quebec City on Tuesday (going to celebrate St. Jean Baptist Day, will post some photos…) I will be working out what to do with all the half finished projects and possibly selling some things off
Click Consultants - Niche Workshop on Debt Relief
I decided enough was enough and I needed to get serious about Affiliate Marketing. So I recently joined my first paid forum and I am extremely happy with my first few days. So happy that I have joined their Niche Workshop on Debt relief. The forum gives you a lot of free stuff, such as landing pages (worth much more than the monthly fee) and very detailed answers to your questions. The Niche Workshop aims to help you through the stages of producing a complete Affiliate Campaign and will hopefully earn me some good money back.
If you are interested in joining me then visit the Click Consultants Forum, oh and let them know that Forest_Parks referred you :).
Thanks to Mattaw from MoneyBites.com for coaxing me to join (BTW, he had a great recent post on how to get sponsors and it is spurring me to try and bring a big contest to this blog at some point)
30 Days of Site Flipping
SiteFlipU.com have launched a July Site Flipping Contest / Mentoring program. I have been really wanting to give site flipping a go so this popped up just at the right moment. I will be following along for 30 days in the hope of winning one of the great prizes (currently worth over $1900, and growing), or at least selling my site for a little bit of money. I liked the idea of this contest so much that I even offered a prize up myself. So you can get 2 125×125 banners designed by me as part of the final prize pool.
Other projects will be fitted in when time allows but I will be aiming to spend most of my time on these as I realize the learning and future earning potential from these is huge.
Let me know what you think, or if you are going to join me on any of these endeavors.
See you after Quebec City……

Go get’em Forrest. I think we all get so creative and have so many projects, it’s easy to lose focus. It’s good to take a breath, and focus on one or two things at a time, even though it’s hard, just jot down the ideas you get for the other stuff, and follow through.
This is the only way you will be able to make progress, otherwise you will have many ideas and projects in the infant stage, but none that are maturing. This will keep you in a constant state of launch and fizzle lol. You’ll get super excited about the prospect of your idea…get a domain, setup the site, and then nothing. Because you’ll be excited about the next project.
I’m fully convinced that I have developed ADD as a result of my online adventures, I can’t spend too much time on one thing! Well, I won’t say it developed from here…I think I had a trace of it before
