What’s Your Motive?
This is a paid review…. however all opinions are mine and have NOT been affected by the monies received!
When I was initially asked to do this review I had never heard of Motive Interactive… However over the last few days I have noticed their banners all over the blogosphere.
They are trying to get themselves noticed and pushing their way uo the noses of the Neverblues and Market Leverages of this industry.
So what exactly are Motive and what are they offering?
Motive Interactive are a new (new to me anyway) affiliate marketing network offering an opportunity for webmasters and companies to work together and earn with the help of each other. They are essentially offering the same service as many other popular networks such as Pepperjam, Neverblue and Market Leverage but claim to have much more advanced tracking systems and an ability to grow with whatever direction the industry decided to go.
I am not technically minded enough to clarify these claims but if they are true then it really gives me a growing interest in this company.
What are my Initial Impressions?
When I first logged into Motive Interactive I was very impressed. I like their brand and the layout of their site is extremely user friendly. I understand this is version 2.0 of their system and it’s just being rolled out.
As you can see from the screen shot above. Everything you need, and no more, is easily accessible in one window with easy tabs. This is by far the best layout I have seen from any affiliate network. It’s easy to view current offers and find new ones as well as see how much you are making.
Motive informed me that they are currently updating so only a few offers were available to see. If they match the varied and interesting offers available through other affiliate companies and things work as well as they look like they will, Motive could well become my main affiliate network.
Why should I promote them?
This is one of the main things that Motive are using to get new people on board. Their referral system is awesome. Offering 5.5% of earnings for life on all referrals (unless the referral is inactive for over 12 months). This means Market Leverage will have to stop advertising their claim to having the highest lifetime referral rate.
Also they have a great rewards system depending on how much you earn per month:
Commissions - Rewards
. $1,000 - $10
. $2,500 - $25
. $5,000 - $50
. $10,000 - $100
. $15,000 - $150
. $20,000 - $200
. $25,000 - $250
. $30,000 - $300
. $50,000 - $500
.$100,000 - $1,250
. $150,000 - $2,000
. $200,000 - $3,000
. $500,000 - $10,000
. $1,000,000 - $20,000
. $1,250,000 - $25,000
Wouldn’t it be great to earn $1,250,000 in a month
Conclusion
Motive have all the elements in the right places. A great dashboard, a cool brand and a great referrel and bonus system.
Now the most important elements are things I cannot judge until I become a longer term user. For Motive to fully win me over I need to see the full range of offers available and have interaction with their Affiliate Managers. I want to see that the offers convert and am interested in split testing similar offers with other affiliate networks.
I would definitely say these guys are “one to watch” and am excited to see if they pan out to be everything that I hope they can be.
Have you had experience with Motive? If so how has your experience been?
(as this review was paid I have not included any affiliate links)

Ha - when I am earning 1,250,000 per month, the extra 25,000 will make so much difference to my life!
(although I guess that in theory - you could spend 1,249,900 on a PPC campaign promoting their products and make 25,100 profit… Not to mention that if you were using a ‘cash back’ credit card to pay for your PPC you could get a tidy sum back that way too!)

i will try them out.

Ian - put up an affiliate link - and I’ll sign up through it - and when I get a proper hang of this PPC business, I’ll start spending megabucks driving PPC traffic

Hey Jordan,
Thanks a million, made me $7
… I still am yet to have gotten around to fully testing Motive… Pepperjam have some great programs.
Also with Pepperjam you can get $10 for writing a post about them and can do that 4 times a month right now.

No probs.
Must look into the posting thing..
But I have to say that NONE of their offers look like they will work with any of my traffic (Neverblue is better so far for having offers that I have some chance of promoting without resorting to PPC)..

Ha!
Tried signing up to Motive through your link, and guess what?
I need a U.S. style TAX ID to complete the sign up!
mmmm.. Thats a bit silly seeing as how they allow you to specify your country as ‘UK’…

I just filled in jargo on that part and they accepted my app…. I still have not tried them out properly yet but should be doing so soon….
As for Pepperjam they have a new store builder… May be worth seeing if that brings any products that you can sell.
Thanks.
